Our Approach

The ECHO Fund makes grants across a range of issue areas including the arts, education, the environment, community health, and social justice & democracy. We are particularly interested in initiatives that improve the lives of women and girls. By applying a gender equity lens we can amplify impact across several areas.
Our giving is focused mostly on Monmouth County, New Jersey, and the Adirondack region in New York, but is not limited to one geography or focus area.
We seek to sustain community-based organizations through general operating and project-specific grants. At the same time, we also look for opportunities where we amplify our community impact through catalytic capital investments.
We do not accept unsolicited requests at this time. Organizations seeking grant support are encouraged to get in touch with The ECHO Fund to share more about their work.
